Salzburg AG runs the Obus, the electric trolleybus network that carries the city. It is one of the largest trolleybus systems in western Europe, and lines 1 and 4 loop the old town. Most central routes meet at Mirabellplatz and Hanuschplatz. Buy single tickets on board or cheaper from a Trafik or ticket machine; a day ticket is the better buy if you ride more than twice. Use it for Hellbrunn, the airport, and the outer districts. The old town walks faster than it rides.
