Founded 1913

One of the world's most celebrated puppet theatres, founded in 1913 by Anton Aicher and still run by his descendants. Performs elaborately staged Mozart operas and classics using intricately crafted marionettes. A UNESCO-recognised form of intangible cultural heritage.
