The Kurgarten sits directly behind Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg’s Neustadt: an English landscape garden of old shade trees and circular benches, laid out around a 19th century spa house that no longer stands. Quiet, local, free, always open. The park to sit in when the Mirabell photo crowds get too much.
