A light installation on the Staatsbrücke by Serbian-American performance and installation artist Marina Abramović (2004). Walk of Modern Art #3. Abramović, known for work that tests physical endurance and the boundaries between performer and audience, brought to Salzburg an installation that transforms the bridge's nocturnal atmosphere. The work casts Mozart not simply as a historical composer but as a living cultural presence whose spirit the city both venerates and commercially exploits.
